A nurse can provide a clear, unbiased description of complex diagnoses, diagnostic testing, treatment, symptoms, pain and suffering, and emotions a client had so that the attorneys and jury has a much better understanding of the case.

Nurse Observer for Defense Medical Exam

All of our associates are trained in proper DME procedures. They will politely, professionally and (if necessary) assertively interface with the examiner to uphold DME Response to Demand stipulations. Clients who are in the company of our nurse observers during their defense medical examinations feel reassured having a representative with them to protect their rights.

Pre-DME interview with clients

We will contact your client prior to the scheduled appointment to introduce ourselves and prep the client for the exam in and attempt to decrease anxiety.

Audio and written report provided to the representing Attorney

We will audiotape the entire interaction and provide the attorney with a written timed report detailing the reactions of the client as well as the actions of the examining physician.  All the things you cannot hear on the audio recording

Representation of the Attorney during the Exam

Our nurse observer will stay with your client from the time they arrive until the appointment is complete.  We act as the eyes and ears of the attorney during the exam to assure fairness and accuracy in reporting

If needed, our nurse observers are available to review and compare the observer’s report to the DME physician’s report to identify and qualify any inconsistencies in the report.
